- Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali. (310 kms / 10 hrs).
- Pickup from Chandigarh Railway station/airport and drive to Manali the valley of Gods. Manali is a combination of natural splendor and rich cultural heritage. Enjoy the Scenic Himalayas and the Beas river from the window of your cab. On the way you can have a stop over at Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh dam on river Beas and Kullu if time permits. Enroute you will stop for various photo stops and comfort breaks including the lunch break. It will take 8 to 10 hours to reach Manali and the distance is 310 Kms. The cab will pass through Bilaspur, Sundernagar, Mandi and Kullu on the way to Manali. Overnight stay in hotel in Manali.
- Day 2: Manali Local Sight Seeing.
- Today morning after breakfast you will and late start , and we will drive you for the local sightseeing tour of Manali and will visit the 450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashishth temple, Vashishth hot water sulphur springs, Club house, Buddhist Monasteries, Van Vihar . Evening is free to visit the Tibetian Market , the Mall Road of Manali and the old Manali village. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel in Manali.
- Day 3: Manali to Keylong
- Headquarters of Lahaul & Spiti district. In the morning after breakfast at hotel you travel by surface to Keylong over Rohtang Pass (3980 m). Enroute you will be crossing Rahala water Fall, Marhi and some Lahaul villages like Khoksar, Sissu and Gondla. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit to Khardong monastery & village. Evening free to explore Keylong. Overnight at hotel.
- Day 4: Keylong to Kaza
- Kaza (200 kms / 10 -11 hrs) Countryside life. After breakfast travel by jeep from Keylong to Kaza over the Kunzam Pass (4558 m) enroute visiting villages like Losar, Hal and Rangrik. On arrival check in at hotel or guest house. Overnight at guest house.
- Day 5: Kaza Kibber Kaza.
- Day for monasteries : Morning visit the Ki monastery, 12 kms from Kaza. This centuries – old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors – and at one time also acted as a fort. It houses valuable Thangkas and offers a panoramic view of the area. Also visit the small gompa at Kibber, 9 kms further ahead. Kibber at 4205 m altitude has the distinction of being one of the highest permanently inhabited village of the region. Overnight in tents at Kaza.
- Day 6: Kaza to Tabo
- The Ajanta of the Himalayas : After breakfast leave for an excursion to Tabo visiting Tabo Monastery. Founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is known for its awesome murals and stucco images – and is thus called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”. abo monastery is the largest monastic complex in Spiti embracing in its complex 9 temples, 23 chortens besides chambers for monks and nuns. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures too. In trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa. Later drive back to Kaza enroute visiting Dhankar Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Kaza.
- Day 7: Tabo to Nako
- Drive to Nako in the morning. This place is popular for its lake that forms part of the border of the Nako village. Enjoy the serene ambiance and picturesque lake. Later, proceed to Nako Monastery. Talk to village people and enjoy the hospitality extended by them. Reach at the guesthouse for an overnight stay.
- Day 8: Nako to Kalpa
- After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Kalpa village (5-6 hrs.) Enroute we will stop at Recongpeo and will have a walk around the local market. Recongpeo is the district headquarters of Kinnaur district. We will have lunch in a local restaurant where you have a choice to enjoy Indian or Tibetian food. After lunch we will drive to kalpa (7 kms), you will check in to your hotel. In evening explore the Kalpa Valley. Overnight in hotel in Kalpa.
- Day 9: Kalpa to Sarahan
- After breakfast Dept to Kalpa. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to walk around the Sarahan village. Overnight at hotel.
- Day 10: Sarahan to Shimla
- After breakfast at hotel we will set off at around 9:00A.M. Today it is a drive of 8-9 hrs, driving through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda and Rampur. En route we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wodden carved temple of Godess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and enroute we will stop for lunch break and various picture breaks and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers the splendid views of Shrikhanda Mahadev Peak (5,155 metres). The major attraction in Sarahan is centuries-old Hindu temple of Godess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarahan is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley.. Overnight stay in Hotel in Shimla.
- Day 11: Shimla local sighseeing
- After breakfast today enjoy the local sightseeing of Shimla. Today visit “Vice Regal Lodge” of Shimla is a heritage building this is situated on the Observatory Hill of Shimla. The building now serves as the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS). “Christ Church” Shimla built in 1857 in the neo – Gothic style. And also visit Gaiety Theatre, Scandal Point and famous Sankat Mochan Temple. The evening time is free to explore the famous “The Mall”. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 12: Shimla to Chandigarh
- After breakfast and check out from hotel, visit the nearby Tata Devi Temple situated on a hill top. From here you can see the panoramic views of Shimla on one side and Kasauli on the other side. Travel to Chandigarh and dropping at Airport / railway station. On the way stopover at Pinjore Garden and ropeway at Timber Trail Resort if time permits.
